Guest Hearne_Family
Hi guys, Just wondering if anyone knew how long this journey would take and also how much I would be looking at cost wise if this was my daily commute? Thanks, Terry
kernow43
Hi guys, Just wondering if anyone knew how long this journey would take and also how much I would be looking at cost wise if this was my daily commute? Thanks, Terry You would have approx 3 hours travel per day. 1 hour 5 mins Frankston to Flinders St and allow 25 mins tram to Kew Not sure on costs. It is a lot of travel per week! Guest Hearne_Family
Hey Kernow, Thanks for the reply, I see what you mean that its a lot of travel but its actually less travel than I have now on my commute to work!!
olly
You can have the option of getting on the Frankston tollway/freeway up to Kew. Compare train fares to electronic tag (only part of it is tolled by the way).
Guest treesea
You could get a weekly ticket, ones 1 and 2 (Frankston is zone 2) for $47.40 or a monthly ticket for $161. You might find www.metlinkmelbourne.com.au useful.
Petals
Long commute, first of all you would have to probably drive to Frankston Station then get the train for an hour then get a tram to Kew not a commute I would like.
