I've just been having a scout round the DIAC website and the News Section of the Go Matilda websites. There does not seem to be anything new on either of them suggesting a recent change in the SOL? I was told this morning that South Australia slashed its list of occupations in demand locally yesterday. They have definitely done this in respect of the Regional State Nominated subclass 475 visa; I don't know whether they have altered their list for the subclass 176 visa as well. I'm not familiar with their old lists so I can't tell what changes SA have made just by reading their new lists. I'm just wondering whether you have heard something that have not reached the Poms in Oz board yet or the sites that I tend to keep an eye on for any news that ought to be posted on here? Agents tend to hear quite a lot before a change actually happens but I'm not an agent so I wouldn't get any advance tip-offs about changes. Do the changes to the SOL that you refer to affect you? nickynush Posted September 24, 2008 Share Posted September 24, 2008 Just checked on DIAC and SOL list is up to date @ July 08 so no recent changes. Any updates usually show immediately.
