Guest savoycabbage Posted September 6, 2008 Share Posted September 6, 2008 My husband has just got a job in Melbourne. We live in the UK at the moment. We have lived in Sydney before but we have never even been to Melbourne........ The job is in Richmond. We have got two young children, one of whom is due to start school. She will be due to start this January in Melbourne so a priority is finding her a school. We want to rent and we want somewhere with a garden. The company the job is with is going to let us live in a house it owns for as month until we find our feet. Also will he need a car for work or is public transport be an option? budget? will you be looking at buying or renting? last of all what would you like out of the suburb? beach is that important? Guest The Pom Queen Posted September 7, 2008 Share Posted September 7, 2008 Hi and welcome to PIO, like Geoffrey has said it really does depend on a lot of things and esepcially your budget.
