Guest dwaldron
Like me you may have noticed that Australia, like the UK, uses the DVB-T standard for digital television. I had assumed that I would be able to take my PVR but a quick email to the manufacturer yielded the following answer - it won't work: There are a number of differences between the two DVB-T systems in the UK and Australia. Firstly there is the radio frequency channel plan, the channel start and stop points are different. Secondly, Australia uses the VHF band and the UK does not so a number of channels would be missed. Thirdly, in Australia the channel bandwidth is 7 MHz and the UK is 8 MHz so no channels would be found.

Stuju
Hi Angela, I suggest that you bring the new tv that you have brought as we have a Panasonic viera lcd tv (which you can few photos on and record via the built in didgi thingy) and when we connected it up to an aussie digibox it works perfect here. Its worth a try as they are so expensive here and back in the uk. :jiggy:
