My mum is on this flight and will be on her own! would be nice if she could find a traveling companion as this is her first long haul to Australia! Thanks. Guest adey Posted September 5, 2008 Share Posted September 5, 2008 not quite the answer you want but my Mum travelled down on her own last March with Emirates and they really looked after her, her only complaint was that every meal was curry based (we had the same thing when we flew with them) or cheese based and she's allergic to cheese. So if she's not into thai curry then tell her to buy herself a pack of sarnies at the airport as even the sarnies they serve are curry based (depending where you sit but curry are the last option if you are at the back of the plane). Guest Julo Posted September 5, 2008 Share Posted September 5, 2008 i'm flying on the same day but with singapore! how typical!!! my oh flew with emirates in july and they have email and all sorts on them now so maybe try and get her on email (if she isn't already) so she can email you from the plane.
