Unfortunately this will have a knock on effect on the rental values people will be able to obtain & in some cases will mean people won't be able to cover their mortgage payments as they planned. There have also been reports of an increase in the number of people defaulting on their rents as the rest of their bills soar. Taking out rental insurance should be seriously looked at by anyone who is looking to rent out their house.
