Sparks21 Posted January 28, 2024 Posted January 28, 2024 Hi, I have a question which I am getting mixed information about. I am currently residing in Perth on a 491 visa. I know we are eligible to apply for the 191 PR after 3 years. But as I am currently eligible for the 190 can I pay the fee and apply for this visa if I wanted to or must I remain on the 491? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Quote
rammygirl Posted January 28, 2024 Posted January 28, 2024 You can apply for a PR visa without having to wait. Once granted it will replace your existing visa. May well be worth it as you will be eligible for citizenship sooner. 1 Quote

rammygirl Posted January 28, 2024 Posted January 28, 2024 Thanks for the clarification. And that’s why you need a registered agent not an amateur for advice! 1 1 Quote
