dazsmith82 Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 Hi. After an elongated visa process due to COVID, we got our 190PR visas last December and we are heading over to activate in a couple of weeks. Because it took 2.5years from lodging to grant and 4 years all in from starting the whole process we went off the idea and got on with life in the UK. Part of that was me leaving my job (the skill used for the visa) and starting a business in an unrelated industry. We are still leaning towards life in the UK but have swung towards Oz recently (especially with the awful weather here) and think our minds will be swayed further when we head out there. My question is - is there a requirement (i.e do they check?) to get a job related to the skill used to get the visa - moral or otherwise? I don't really want to go back to my old industry now. Thanks Daz Quote

rammygirl Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 With a 190 visa there is no requirement to work in the nominated occupation. Quote
