Best international removers

Whether you ship everything is up to you.  The best way to work it out is to do a "pretend" shop in Australian stores.

You'll have to book an AirBnB or a holiday rental for 4 weeks, for when you first arrive.   During that time, you'll look for a longer-term rental (6 months or 12 months).  Longer-term rentals in Australia are almost always unfurnished.  That means that if you leave everything behind, you'll need to dash out and buy all the stuff you need to furnish your new place.

So, imagine you're doing that.  Get onto Ikea.com.au, amartfurniture.com.au (if you want cheap and cheerful), harveynorman.com.au, appliancesonline.com.au and pretend you're doing that shop.  You don't have to actually buy anything, just "add to cart" everything you need, then go and look how much it all comes to.

That will give you an idea whether it's cheaper to replace it all, or bring it all with you.

If you're bringing it all with you, it's a good idea to ship your stuff a few weeks before you go (it's usually easier to "camp" in your UK home, especially if you can borrow stuff from friends and family, than manage without once you get to Australia).
