Partner visa - subclass 820

Hi folks,

I'm Australian and living in the UK. My partner and I applied for a partner visa March 2019... We have provided all of the required docs and pre-covid it looked like being approved in line with the earliest advised processing time - so around June 2020. But then obviously covid hit and we are in limbo, no doubt like so many... :(

Has anyone had a partner visa approved in the past 4 months? Or am I right in assuming that no processing is taking place? We are desperate to get back to Aus and hoping for early next year... But perhaps even that's wishful thinking?

There isn't much info provided when logged into our application...

I realise no one has a crystal ball, but if anyone has any knowledge on this it would be so very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Jenna

So am I right in thinking we may need to do another medical or police check if not approved by the 12 month mark? Surely not given they requested the medical at a certain time and the delay is immigrations delay due to changing processing times. Or, perhaps its not a fair process and it'll need to be redone?

We applied for the visa May 19. Medical was requested in Jan 20 and undertaken Feb 20. Everything has been provided as requested but we are still waiting.

Unfortunately, you’re not the only one and a number U.K. applications are the same ... medical requested per-COVID and now in a black hole. Some 309s are being processed though.
