CLA81
Hi there Anyone got any advice 're the application for permanent residency visa, and as part of the skills assessment having to provide all qualifications transcripts from the qualifying university. My husband has misplaced one of the transcripts and as he graduated over 10 years ago now the uni does not hold copies of the actual transcript, but has provided supporting proof of the said qualification, but VETASSES have said that's not acceptable. Anyone had this before and found a solution?? Any advice welcome.. Thanks x
DukeNinja
Maybe the Uni runs a similar course now, who's transcript can be tailored to reflect what he did? It is unusual that the Uni doesn't have any of those transcripts, as I have accessed 7 year old transcripts, and a friend of mine has accessed 12 yr old ones from their uni. excitedbutterrified
Which Uni did he attend? I recently had the same situation, and my old university (uni of liverpool) sent out a new transcript - which wasn't 100% complete - it was missing some module names during the first year, but had the module codes. Engineers Australia were happy with this. I graduated in 2003 and I think its a basic function of a university to keep such records.
CLA81
Thanks for your reply. We're all sorted now, he contacted the uni (Leeds) and they sent something to him that VETASSES have accepted now. So all good. Fingers crossed....
