Could anyone explain exactly if on this visa you have to work for 2 years or can u work less.worried that if i dont like the job i would be penalised if i went home early i'm sure that wont be the case but need a back up plan Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ozzy81uk Posted July 22, 2008 Share Posted July 22, 2008 Hi Julie, We are going to queensland with the same visa, and I understood that the 2 years is just if you really want to stay in Australia, it just means you have to have your residence in that state for at least two years. You don't have to work, you can study or just sit on the beach for 2 years if you want. I believe you can fly home whenever you want, its not a prison!!
