Jelly
Hi all I received an invitation to apply for NSW nomination for a subclass 190 visa today. Assuming there are no issues with providing documentation/evidence, am I guaranteed of getting an invite from the Department of Home Affairs for a 190 visa if NSW nominates me? Also, will I receive an invite from the Department of Home Affairs on the same day that the NSW nomination comes through, or will this be some time after? Thanks Jelly
Ausvisitor
If your documents and experience match what you said in your EOI then you should get the nomination. When you get the nomination, DIBP also get a notification to send you the main visa invite, this usually happens within 24 hours. There is no guarantee that NSW will nominate you, and there is no guarantee that DIBP will accept your visa application; however if NSW do nominate you then you are guaranteed an invite from DIBP My own NSW nomination came through 14 days after submitting the paperwork and payment, even though it says 6 weeks on all the websites and emails.
