RyanReid
Hi guys, I applied for a 186 visa as a Marketing Specialist based in Sydney back on 23rd Feb 2018. Up until now I have not seen any change in the status of my application. With everything submitted I am wondering what is taking the department so long, particularly given that I am seeing others who applied for the same role type, also in Sydney, who applied after me, getting responses. Is anyone aware of that determines when your application is reviewed, can you contact the department to get a better understanding of the delay? Also given that I have already submitted all additional documents with my application, I notice that after 12 months they may no longer be valid - as this is the departments fault (due to them estimating a processing time of 8-10 months at the time of application) will they accept the documents or request a renewal? I had a request for revised police checks and have supplied these, I'm waiting on a response back from the department regarding my application. Have you had any joy as yet?
