187- 3 years working experience

RSMS 187 VISA—

Hi guys, 

           Do you know if 3 YEARS WORKING EXPERIENCE is manadatory for the 187 RSMS Visa? The Regional Certifying Body mentioned that the 3 Years  is not a requirement for the RSMS sponsorship and on the immigration website it states - depending on your occupation, you must have at least 3 years of working experience. Which is what?

If applying under the DE pathway, Yes, you will need 3 years of full time, skilled employment.

It’s just the Regional Certifying body said it is not a criteria. So it’s just confusing.

It’s probably the case of them not updating their websites. I saw back a few months ago some were still saying 60 points was the minimum but that was upped to 65 in July.

Each Regional Certifying Body has their own criteria, which may be different from the Visa requirements. You still need to meet the visa requirements irrespective of what the Regional Certifying Body criteria is.
