wrussell
Did you apply for a visa before receiving a positive pre-migration skills assessment?

wrussell
If your occupation was one for which a skills assessment was mandatory: https://www.seekvisa.com.au/457-skills-assessment-program/ you should not have lodged an application without one. Sometimes case officers ask for skills assessments for applications where they are not mandatory. In this case a request for further time , or a waiver of the request might prove productive. Whatever the case, you can always ask for more time by uploading a request and emailing it to the delegate.

If your occupation is one in which a skills assessment is mandatory, then you should have obtained it prior to applying. If this is the case, then your application is likely to be refused. You should look at appointing a registered migration agent such as Wrussel above.
