We are wanting to come back as soon as possible and I am waiting for my citizenship ceremony in Aus which should be early next year. When should we apply for the visa?( eligible in savings) Can we do this soon or should we wait? What’s the time frame once you get the visa that you need to enter the uk? Marisawright Posted July 8, 2018 Share Posted July 8, 2018 Spouse visa for the UK took less than two months for us, though that was a while ago. In fact it caught us on the hop because it was so quick. The spouse visa is a bit unusual, it's called a "multiple entry" visa. It means the holder can make as many visits as they like during the two year period of the visa, and stay as long as they like each time. So there's no time frame to enter the UK.
