Amber Snowball
Hi, I don’t think you can count the time on a temporary visa only a permanent one, so only since 4/4/17. Others with more knowledge will be along I’m sure and correct me if I’m wrong but that’s my understanding.
welljock
You can count time on a temporary visa - only the last year needs to be on a PR but I don't know if the unused visitor visa counts as a valid visa (usually visa's only become valid on entry to the country). If so, you're eligible now, if not it will be 1/9/2018 19/09/2018.
VERYSTORMY
Go to the home affair citizenship page and there is a calculator. You can put your dates in and it will tell you if you are eligible.
welljock
The calculator is too basic for this, it relies on you putting in (and knowing the validity of) the correct dates. In the above example the lawful entry date could be 19/9/2014 or 26/12/2013 depending on the validity of the used visa.
