Toonraider
Hi, anyone use haskew law or GoMatilda for visa application.. I understand my wife could go for 489 visa in NSW as a registered nurse (community health), it’s like a mine filed trying to find trusted and good agent.. any advice of someone who has done similar would be much appreciated, thanks in advance
Cerberus1
Haven't heard of haskew law. @Alan Collett (GoMatilda) has been a member on here since 2006. Many members past and present have used GoMatilda. @Richard Gregan (https://www.overseas-emigration.co.uk/) is also UK based, again, a member on here for over a decade. Both MARA registered, both well respected on the forum.
wrussell
Both the agents mentioned in the previous post are ok.
mrsgellerby
I'm a Community Nurse also and just had our 189 granted. We used The Emigration Group. Really good communication with them
Toonraider
Hi Mrsgellerby, can i ask how long the process took for you from initially applying? We can only apply for a 489 visa due to my wife only being qualified 18 months. Which part of Australia are you going to, how difficult was it for you to find a job? Sorry for all the questions

Sorry for all the questions All the info is in my signature underneath. Started the whole process nearly a year ago (English test). We're going to Brisbane. I think a few states have restrictions on 489s at the minute. Follow Iscah on Facebook - really helpful. No job yet as we plan not to work for a couple of months when we arrive

Loads of free material on the net. I did IELTS (2 attempts) but some people find Pearsons easiers. An agent is expensive but it was well worth it. I didn't have the time after work to be filling in forms and getting all stressed out. Start gathering all your Wifes stuff for AHPRA as that can take some time to get registered with them
