Amber Snowball
Hi, I always take out travel insurance as it covers luggage loss, cancellations as well as health or accident issues. Just seems prudent to me. You’ll get emergency health for free in the UK, but what if you slip and break your leg transiting through Dubai or wherever? I used Woolworths last year, $90 odd and it covered the excess on my car hire as well. Sorted! Have a lovely trip. ?
Drumbeat
I agree with the above, I never travel without insurance. Even travelling within Australia as it covers our car hire excess.
NicF
I can never understand why people think they don’t need travel insurance because they are going to the UK. It’s like they think the only thing that could possibly go wrong between booking the holiday and arriving back is an illness or accident that only causes a problem for the time they are in the UK.
