Guest Dunteaching
I am looking to go to Australia in August of next year and would like to find employment as soon as possilble. I have Australian citizenship which will be helpful I think. I am a teacher but am looking to take up a more administrative role rather than classroom work - eg; policy/curriculum development etc - probably outwith a school itself 1/ Any advice on when I should be applying. 2/ is it worth me sending my cv to recruitment agencies? 2/ What are the chances of landing a job before I get there - that would be absolute favourite thank you
Guest pj
Hi Unless the work you are going for is particularly rare, I wouldn't bother applying for anything until you get to Oz. The agencies will ignore you unless you are arriving in the next week or two. For an idea of rates/salary, seek.com.au is the most widely used site for most professions. Good luck!
