Namish2015 Posted September 26, 2016 Share Posted September 26, 2016 Nomination aproved -25/9/2015 Visa lodged - 20/11/2015 Docs requested -3/8/2016 AFP for secondary aplicant ,form 80 for both applicants processing centre - WA pese team 7 Docs submitted - 24/8/2016 but still waiting waiting waiting only on 21/9/2016 I rang to immi and they transfered my call to case officer and case officer said he was allocated on 20/9/2016 and he reassessing my aplication . since nothing has been heard from immi I don't know if new case officer allocated on 20/9/2016 after submitted requests docs .why new case officer is taking longer his guys pls suggest me is this normal process and it could be serious will any problem to get visa pls suggest I'm waiting offshore with my family pls thanx Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They are working on them. They don't always open a file and grant a visa on the spot. Often they have checks to do, extra info to ask for. While they are waiting for that they move onto other people's visas, so start ones that are later dates. It makes perfect sense. Some checks can take a year or so to come back from some high risk countries. They can't just sit there doing nothing as that file is already open but not finished. The problem is not receiving any updates. You prepare for 6 months and nothing happen. Not even a CO allocated. Thats also not fair. These are real people whose lives are being affected. Zoya Khan Posted September 27, 2016 Share Posted September 27, 2016 Hi friends, Got PR today Nomination Applied: March 31 2016 Visa application: September 6 2016 Nomination approved: 10.30 am; September 26 2016 Visa granted: 10.55 am; September 26 2016 Occupation: Registered Nurse Uploaded almost all the documents by ourselves including form 80 for character assessment. Since, we didn't had a current Indian pcc, we uploaded the one from 2013 and included the invoice for the new one. As i was pregnant, i uploaded a medical certificate showing the same. Fortunately i had a valid medical (did for 457). No further documents were requested. Congratulations ?
