I enquired yesterday from IMMI as to how long they think we will still be waiting and they said hopefully they assign us to a new CO within the next four weeks. Ā They changed the system. If a CO viewed your file and they requested more docs, your application is not going back to the same CO, you get assigned a new CO after 28 days of requested docs. Which is simply impossible to do in this process. Ā Cant help myself to wake up at 3am in the morning(offshore) just to check if there is an email waiting for us. I hear how extremely efficient everything in Aus is, then I do not know how the visa process comes into play. Dont get me wrong, I totally support all the checks and procedures. But surely if you see you have a million applications and 40 staff members someone should be able to see that this formula just does not work. 189 visas - Priority 4 or 5 cant remember, are being approved within a month to 3 months. Ā Clear information would be greatly appreciated. Thats all we ask. . . Ā I dont even know how to encourage you, because everytime we think its close we just get another delay and disappointment. Just try to busy yourself in other things such as games, movies or spend sometime with family ( whatever u like the most). Forget about file for sometime.
