It's my day just got visa approved

Rcb vic: 15/06/14 approved

Visa and nomination applied:26/06/14

visa and nomination approved: 23/10/14

No sign of co allocation visa got approved straight away.

processed in paramatta processing center.

occupation: retail store manager

exp: 3+

Hi guys,

I have found an employer who willing to sponsor me for 187 in regional NSW. Could anyone tell me about required documents for RCB application process? Do I need to have IELTS >6 at the time of RCB lodgement ? and in general, do i need to prepare the papers as a nominee to provide to my employer at this stage?

And just want to have a clear ideas of required documents for each stage in order to better prepare for.

This website is very helpful. I am on 573 and still on student visa currently studying a Bachelor degree in Agriculture that will be finish this month. I has been working for 6 months in the position nominated " farm manager" (skilled level 1). My question is, this is enough experience to apply to 187 visa? Thanks for advise!!

Gauhear, I suggest you go to the website of RCB in your region to see their required docs. Diffrent RCB may require slightly diffent sets of docs. Cheers

i lodged my 187 visa on sep 2nd.

Did everyone else applying for a 187 upload all documents at the time of submitting the application? Or afterwards? It's taken us a while to get everything together and now we just have Medicals and police checks to do and that should be everything done this week. My employer has uploaded everything that she thinks is needed. Not sure where they are up to with the 187 applications at the moment or whether it differs by state? My visa is for the Sunshine Coast.

Any info from anyone that knows more than me would be appreciated! It's such a complicated process!

Have been hassling my MA for an update and he emailed immigration. He forwarded an automated reply from NSW PSE (?) which stated that they are currently processing applications received in July. At least the June backlog is out of the way!

Processing July doesn't mean that the June ones are all done. It just means they have been assigned a co. They could be waiting for security checks, more info etc. Just incase anyone sees that and panics that theirs was earlier than that and they don't have a visa yet.

Rupi, I am from high risk country. I guess once they approved your nomination tbey have gone through ur visa app as well so its just the matter of time before you get your visa. If anything wrong you will hear from ur co. As its quite in ur case so I guess ur co is quite busy thats all. Goodluck and dont be panic. God bless you

Hi rosie78,

I uploaded all of my documents at the same time. I don't think that speeds up the process though. Everyone will be assigned a case officer at about the same wait time it seems. Once you've got a case office, if you have all the documents in, I think that helps in getting a quick decision.

I'm also applying from QLD. I think state doesn't matter but the processing center does. QLD applications are processed in Paramatta along with other states. I've sent everything in September as well so we can be waiting buddies. =)
