Angelpie
Hi , this is my first post , I'm looking at putting in for prospective marriage visa soon. My partner is Australian and lives over there, I live in the uk with my two children ( we got court permission to relocate) apart from the mind boggling visa application process I'm wondering about the police check - I have a caution from ten years ago I have never been in trouble before that or since, also I have fibromyalgia amongst other things (depression anxiety due to DV from my ex) all of which for the most part I manage very well my question is will either of these points get me refused a visa? Many thanks for any advice xx
VERYSTORMY
You will have to declare your caution, but it won't be an issue. At worst the department will ask for some details. As a rule of thumb they are only interested in sentences over 12 months. Your depression shouldn't be an issue either.
