Some occupations, such as Accountant and Software and Applications Programmers for example, will need 70 points or more before they receive an invitation. VicViP Posted May 19, 2017 Share Posted May 19, 2017 It really depends on your occupation. For instance, I lodged EOI for 261313 - Software Engineer with 60 points in February 2016. Never received any invitation, since the minimum bar for 2613x is at least 65 points. Increased my points to 65 points in January 2017, received an invitation in March 2017. Sent using Poms in Oz mobile app Looking at the last available invitation round on April 12: http://www.border.gov.au/WorkinginAustralia/Pages/12-april-2017-round-results.aspx (wow accountant 80pts...) 2633x isn't listed as pro rata occupations, so 60pts is the minimum to get an invitation.
