If you are extremely lucky your visa application might be considered when they look at your nomination (which would be about March), but you might get your nomination then have to wait longer - weeks or months for your visa to come to the top of the pile. My nom is 23rd too, they haven't looked yet. Hopefully they'll clear your visa soon! Good luck. Pretty sure xmas was a joke, no way they'd take that long when the nom is approved already...
