I've been gone for a while but I've never given up my dream of moving to Australia. Now I'm back and feeling determined and hoping that a move for our family is getting closer. I'll become a registered nurse in the summer and can't wait to get some experience here and fingers crossed successfully applying for our visas. Thanks for having me back. Alanandfiona Posted January 26, 2017 Author Share Posted January 26, 2017 We are hoping to attend the down under expo in Glasgow to get a better idea of visa process. I'd love to be applying right now!!! My husband is nearly 40 and is a mechanical engineer. I'm 37 and as I said will qualify as a nurse in the summer. Weighing up who is best for main visa applicant. And then if it's me I believe I would get more points for my age if I apply before I am 40 compared to if I wait until I'm past 40 but have more experience!?! Does that make sense??
