celeliza Posted June 17, 2008 Share Posted June 17, 2008 Hi everyone, I had made the decision to migrate to Australia in January this year and appointed an agent to start my visa process for subclass 475. In late March, my skills assessment was submitted to VETASSESS and I was told that it would take 6-8 weeks to recieve a result. I still have not yet heard anything!! I emailed VETASSESS to chase up what was happening and this is the response I got back: "I refer to your application to VETASSESS for qualification assessment. As your qualifications are not covered by the published assessment guidelines they will need to be individually assessed. This may involve some delay in finalising your case. I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause." Has anyone been in this situation before?? If so, how long did it finally took them to reach a result?
