Nickhep1
Hi all, I am a commercial glazier specialising in installing aluminium shop fronts and curtain walling on petrol forecourts, shopping centres and large commercial properties. I am looking for a sponsorship to preferably Queensland but will go anywhere to be honest. Does anybody know if Australian employers are sponsoring overseas candidates still? TIA

TIA Australian employers are not all doing the same thing, some might sponsor others might not, it depends upon their particular needs and ability to find local workers. Generally though, securing sponsorship is difficult as few occupations truly have such shortages that they need to. Glazier is on the SOL so you would probably be better off looking into skilled migration.
VERYSTORMY
Employer sponsorship is usually only a temporary visa and is rarely a good idea. Have you looked if you are eligible for permanent skilled migration?
Nickhep1
Thanks all for your feedback. Looked into it and 5 points short for migration that's even if I get 8's on IELTS.
VERYSTORMY
Have you looked at state sponsorship as this gives points.
