    Hi all, I am a commercial glazier specialising in installing aluminium shop fronts and curtain walling on petrol forecourts, shopping centres and large commercial properties. I am looking for a sponsorship to preferably Queensland but will go anywhere to be honest. Does anybody know if Australian employers are sponsoring overseas candidates still? TIA

    I have just been quoted £4114.32 for a springer spaniel and a chihuahua that not including $130 per pet per night for quarantine. Also they will be flying from Heathrow to Melbourne so there will an extra charge on top of that to get them to Brisbane. Sadly we have decided to leave our cat at home with family

    I have had a quote from golden arrow they seem very professional. They will be one we will definitely be keeping in mind

    Thank you Pom Queen that's what I wanted to hear. I no they will be very happy there, no doubt about that. They are very happy here so why wouldn't they be. It was just the flight I was concerned about but you have reassured me with that so thank you. I guess some people are just not dog lovers hey! :wink:

    yeah we have. My partner has her god parents in Caloundra on the sunshine coast, they take their dogs to a beach there which is where we will be heading. As for sleeping in the yard that certainly wont be happening. I suppose its swings and roundabouts isn't it.... I know they will be very happy in Australia as so will we having them there, its just the flight and the quarantine I'm concerned about really.

    VERYSTORMY Thank you on your info.... It would of never even crossed my mind to even think about baited poison and things like that. its vile in my opinion! we take her up to the beach near Blackpool and she loves it although she wont go near the water, she hates it. the info on the body heat will be very helpful to us thank you so much

    Hi I need your help and advice please We have two dogs Poppy, a Springer and a two year old Chihuahua (Lola) who is really nervous / anxious. I Know she would love it in Australia as she loves he long walks chasing Poppy round the hills. I'm really scared she wont cope with the massive ordeal of being shipped to Oz but we cannot leave her but most of all, cant put her through it if something may happen to her as we would never forgive ourselves. What I'm asking is, has anybody been in a similar situation with there dog and what did they do?

My mrs put that on thats why the sums dont add up haha. yeah gunna have to a motor there all a bag of **** tho mate. i will have to get a nissan sunny 1992 for about 1000$ which will prob die on me after 10 minutes. I am defo gunna do it mate because i am no better off here. If you take one where you gunna go? Makay is up there on its own pal.     <p><p>yeah i am a little now mate, but it depends on what you live like in the uk i think.... i think most of those people who have posted on your thread just couldn't imagine living on our salary coz they get alot more than us. i have worked out so far that if i get a rental for 350 pw plus water @ 50pw food @ 150pw elect 50pw you dont pay council tax some rentals you dont pay water either coz its in your rent </p></p>

    <p><p>No she wont work she will have to look after our kids of 2 & 6mth. we will take a few grand with us when we sell the house but wont be loads.</p></p>
