Internatioanl Police checks for AHPRA registration - nursing

Hi

I wonder if anyone has an answer for me. I am registered with the NMC in UK and have had a UK immigration police check done (NPCC), do you also have to do the international police check through fit2work with AHPRA or will they accept the NPCC certificate?

You need Fit2work for Ahpra. There is a section on the AHPRA application form which asks for a reference number which you are given when you apply.

Necessary evil. However, turnaround is pretty quick-less than a week.

Can I ask, my husband is presenting in person and it's been longer than 3 months so he will need a new fit 2 work. How do ahpra link this to his registration in principle? Do fit 2 work send to ahpra or do we need to take a copy when presenting?
