Jamiemadden7
Probably been asked a number of times before, but I've had a quick skim through and cannot find anything. I'm interested in booking my VISA now before the flights (unsure if that is the best way to do it). I know we get 1 year to use our visa, but does that effect the length of the stay, or would the year WHV start once in Oz? Cheers in advance
Quokka2005
Your visa starts from the day you arrive in Australia
Jamiemadden7
Perfect, that's what i needed to know.. I'm just a big worrier to be honest and try to get everything in place properly, panic over the smallest of things such as thinking when i apply for my WHV it will get rejected for some reason, although they would be no reason to

Jamiemadden7
I'm the same, I visited Perth around 3-4 years ago and there was a big scary man shouting at people for having there phones on before they passed security, first time i've seen that anywhere in the world
lukescotty
don't forget that they're valid for one year to enter the country, after that, you have to re apply/pay again.
