DaveM
Hi all! We are in the very early stages of possibly going to Wodonga. I'd be going on a 475 visa around October time, should all go well. We are trying to look into schooling and school fees, as we have been told we may pay different amounts being on a 475. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks, David
Cerberus1
Looks like dependants of 475 visa holders are fee exempt - http://www.education.vic.gov.au/Documents/school/principals/curriculum/osschstudfee.pdf
Quoll
All depends which side of the river you end up on. If you live in Wodonga it'll be free (except for the voluntary fees everyone pays). But if you live on the other side of the river in Albury you will pay $5kpa per kid. So be careful to be on the Vic side if you don't want to pay (but Vic could change its mind at any time too)

No you won't. 475 visa holders don't pay school fees in NSW. http://www.detinternational.nsw.edu.au/media-assets/trp/visa-subclasses.pdf
Quoll
Um, that document says they do! I think we would have heard if NSW had rescinded the temp visa school fees - they've been charging for aeons!

I think you should read more carefully.. We're referring to 475 visas here (not 457).
