kripanayak
Hi, I'm looking forward to secure the skilled migrant category visa. I'm an MBA - Finance (from India) thus kindly let me know which occupations are suitable for me from the Skilled Occupation list. Also plz provide some info on state sponsorship. Thanks in advance
CiderDrinkingCoder
Doesn't work like that, mate. What profession(s) have you been working in? What experience do you have that matches up to a role on the SOL? State nomination information can be found on each of the State / Territory websites. A quick Google hunt will bring those up for you. kripanayak
Hi, Thanks for the reply. Have worked as a Product Manager and currently working as a Analytics Manager with an insurance company after completing my MBA. Did an online hunt but nothing substantial thus need some clarity on it. Appreciate the help....Cheers
CiderDrinkingCoder
If you have had a good look through the ANZSCO roles, and the notes of what would ordinarily be regarded as a requirement of the role, it might be worth considering engaging with a MARA registered agent if you're still confused whether your experience would reasonably fit into one of the specified roles. Extremely odd that nothing substantial came up during your hunt. Took just over 90 seconds to grab these: http://www.liveinvictoria.vic.gov.au/visas-and-immigrating/skilled-visas/skilled-nominated-visa-subclass-190#.V07zQpErKUk http://www.migration.sa.gov.au/skilled-migrants http://www.migration.wa.gov.au/services/skilled-migration-wa/how-to-apply-for-state-nomination http://www.australiasnorthernterritory.com.au/Working/bsm/nt-nominated-general/Pages/skilled-nominated.aspx http://migration.qld.gov.au/skilled-migration-queensland/ http://www.industry.nsw.gov.au/live-and-work-in-nsw/visas-and-immigration/skilled-nominated-migration-190 http://www.migration.tas.gov.au/skilled_migrants/skilled_nominated_visa You'll find us all willing to help on PomsInOz. ABG
Another thing to bear in mind is that MBAs are generally not considered a Masters level qualification from a points perspective. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
MaggieMay24
Unless you're prepared to do a lot of your own research (since no one here knows your work and qualification history to do it for you), it's probably worthwhile to have an initial consultation with a migration agent to see what options you may have.
