kateNollie
Thinking of ping ponging. We we applied and got a spouse visa based on my citizenship. We then came back to the uk after 2 years in oz. 9 months later we're considering the Ping pong. I've read that we should have done something about the visa to allow us to leave and return but we didn't do it. Just wondering where to begin with the visa situation for returning. Any help much appreciated.
Bungo
If visa was granted I 2013, as per your timeline, then it is all good until 2018.
Guest
Agree with Bungo. Just going to ask though, you were on the 309 so it would move to the 100 once you hit the 2 year mark which would be PR not temp. Did you get the second stage sorted and the 100 granted? kateNollie
Thanks for your answers. We were given pr straight off the bat. There was no temporary 2 years. We had enough evidence of relationship to get pr straight away. Ill have to have another google. I definitely read something about if you leave you need to tell them so that when you return it's just a case of going straight back in. I was under the impression that we'd have to almost re apply for the whole visa again.
kateNollie
Raiding return visa was what I found. Do I need one of these?
VERYSTORMY
No. Not if you make the move before the travel part of your visa expires which is 5 years from grant
Bungo
Raiding return visa was what I found. Do I need one of these? No. As earlier, if the visa was granted in 2013 then you have NOTHING to worry about until 2018.
