My husband, 2 children 7 & 4 and I have been looking into moving to Australia from the U.K. We had set our sights on Perth but his qualification ( Reg. Learning disability Nurse) is not recognised there. We have been told we have a choice of Sydney or New Zeland...... Having never been to Australia we are unsure of where to head to.. ali Posted November 9, 2006 Share Posted November 9, 2006 Liz, I have a friend (mental health) who has recently gone to coffs harbour NSW and loves it. I would have thought any sort of nursing was on the MODL so am surprised you say hubby's qualification isn't recognised - do they call it something else in AUS?
