Patphillips47
We are in the process of getting out dog ready to take to Australia some very specific info on the website for importing animals into Oz main one was the rabies injection had to then wait 28 days and have the blood test when the test comes back ,it must be at a certain level , the declaration needs to be signed by an approved UK vet We were lucky our vets have two government authorised vets Dogs can't fly until at least 180 days after the blood test http://www.agriculture.gov.au/cats-dogs is the website
BobPetairUK
For the journey in to the UK you will need to use an Australian based company, we can recommend contacting Dogtainers who have bases situated all over Australia and are defiantly the ones to give you guidance on preparing your pet to head to the UK. There is certain information that would be useful to yourself if you are looking at then taking your pet back to Australia within 2 years. If you would like a quote to help get your dog from the UK back to Australia then please do get in contact with us either by our website http://www.petairuk.com or by calling us on 01725 551124.
