lookingforsun
Hello, Wondered if any nurses in Perth have advice on nursing agencies which focus on mental health and hopefully developmental disabilities! I am aware that DD positions are probably social care rather than nursing but does anyone know of any agencies which provide shifts for both? I am registered with AHPRA however most of my experience is in Learning Disabilities within the UK. In Sydney I was able to work as a RN in a disability setting but not sure that Perth will be the same unfortunately. Any advice would be great especially from other RNLDs working in Perth! ali
Enquire with Nurse West, that's the agency that my service uses the most. I don't know about disability nursing, but you can get MH shifts on the wards

Nemesis
Thanks ali, Ill have a look online now I'd second Nurse West - thats the one I've been told most places use around Perth and Rockingham, incuding Fiona Stanley.
