AHPRA & ANMAC processing times?

Hi mgreaves - thanks for the confirmation.

I've sent off my form for the nmc to verify my practice, fit2work has come back this morning and I've just posted the last few documents off so they can be certified. Hopefully when these come back, next week I'll be able to submit my skills assessment through ANMAC and send off my application to AHPRA.

I was hoping I would be able to send both off at the same time as this save 10 weeks of time, which means we could potentially get over for June/July 2016.

I doing this this process alone without an agent, I've got brains so I thought why not? Lol. Fingers crossed I'm getting it right.

Thank you

sam

AHPRA took 8 weeks from posting to approval, I had no contact from AHPRA throughout this as everything was correct first time. My partner now needs to go to an AHPRA office when we arrive in June 2016 to get her PIN.

I do not know the ANMAC processing times, but you should be just about able to get there for July: ANMAC by middle Feb, visa invite March, visa grant May/June. Just my thoughts nothing official there.

Ali this is incorrect. W

hen you register with AHPRA you wil lnot be put on the nursing register unless you have a visa. As you need to apply to ANMAC for the skills assessment which is part of the visa you will need to do the full assessment.

It took me 8 weeks to get AHPRA from posting to letter of provisional registration, everything was submitted correctly first time and i had no contact from AHPRA.

8 weeks fingers crossed I'll have the same out come! Thank you x

Yes that is what my thoughts were too! Fingers crossed it pans out that way! Where are you headed?

Ahh what an annoyingly crappy system the fit2work site has. I completed everything, then as I have no printer, and there is no way to save the info...I'll have to start again when I have access to a printer/scanner. I reckon anyone that has gone through and successfully completed the AHPRA process deserves their visa for the sheer amount of patience and persistence involved!

If you are on your own computer/laptop I use a program to print to PDF, this basically saves a print out for you to print when you have the chance. I am at work so can't get you the name of the program right now but it was free and i've sued it for years.

Little bit worrying my migration agent - GoMatilda, didn't know I had to complete the Fit2Work, and actually report that they had a client successfully received AHPRA registration a few weeks ago without doing this.

AHPRA is not linked to migration, so I would not expect them to be experts in this area. You need it to work as a nurse in Aus, but you do not need it for the visa which is where GoMatilda specialise.

Fit2Work has been required since February 2015.

so how long from paying online to receiving.. I did mine online two weeks ago and not heard anything yet!

Hi charlotte. Are you asking for the fit2work or the nmc? The fit2work should send you a reference page and number within 3-5 business days of submitting your application. Nmc just send the documents directly to where you have asked them to send them too. So you wouldn't hear anything I don't think.

Fit2work... It's been ten working days as of Friday! They have taken my payment too. Hopefully will hear tomorrow or I'll get hold of them to check.

Thanks for your help

Just logged onto my PayPal account and the payment is not listed!?? But I have got an email from PayPal and it's listed on my credit card statement as paid?

Confused.com now

Any ideas folks?

i really don't know then. I received an email from them within a few min of submitting the application today how long the processing takes. Sounds like you need to ring them to confirm. Especially if you only have a certain number of days to get the stuff back to AHPRA? You don't want them to close your application down because you'll loose your money.
