Were you studying here? Mountain Creek, Buderim Mountain Primary have a good reputation as far as I know and Sippy Downs is fairly new but haven't heard anything bad, the 2 others not so sure about, but I am only going on hearsay. Bradburns
Hi Ramot, Thank you. Yes we're hopefully on our way back. We came out on student visa last time, but came back after 12 months. Just looking at schools for kids, I can remember Mountain Creek and Buderim having good reputations from last time when we were considering Sunshine Coast. I may have work in Kuluin, so wanted advice on the local schools, preferably that can be walked to or get to by public transport. How far is Mountain Creek from Kuluin and is this a high school too?... How are you doing? Are you living in Aus now?

As I mentioned I haven't had school age children here so only going by reputation. M/Creek goes from primary through to senior. About 15 mins to Kuluin. we came on a retirement visa 12 years ago and very settled in MCreek. son came like you on student visa, fast forward 10 years having hit every hurdle possible, you will identify with that, finally got PR and citizenship ceremony in a couple of weeks time. Daughter came on WHV 4 years ago and got PR in sept. Met her partner on her first day in Sydney!!! Life is good and get in touch if you want to when you get here. Bradburns
Thank You. I'm glad things have worked out for your family and also that Aussie life is treating you well. I will contact you when we arrive, it will be nice to get to know people from the area. What are your opinions on kuluin and Maroochydore? ramot
Neither would be my first choice, but no one place suits every one., Kuluin house prices are cheaper so there might be a reason? Perhaps best to rent for a while to suss out different areas.
