Cost of parent contributory visa for this year

Hi could someone please tell how much it is going to cost for my wife and I to move to Australia our son is a resident we are hoping to apply this year I have searched and searched every possible web and can't find how much you pay it tells you how long you have to wait I know you have to send off one amount for both of you and then it is so much each for the last part I know about health checks police checks but trying to work out the full cost is near impossible :confused:

It takes a bit of searching to find the right fees on the immi site. However a quick summary is easy to get by sending an email to parents@border.gov.au

The above fees are in addition to the first application charge which is around $3000 and Assurance of support which is $10k(1 parent) or $14k(two parents applying at the same time) is given back to the sponsor after 10 years.

 

PS: They are currently assessing for finalization applications lodged on 11 September 2013. So a 18+ month wait after lodging your application.
