This thread is for my cousin sister who has completed her bachelors in Mass Communication from India. What are her career options in Australia? For job or higher studies? Then she could apply in due course as a skilled migrant if that occupation is still on one of the lists. She could probably study here for further qualifications as an international fee-paying student. But that doesn't guarantee permanent residency, if that is her main ambition. Your cousin would need to look at the SOL list and take it from there, choosing a course of interest tied perhaps to an occupation on the list.
