I must say I thought the Minister might go the other way and award 3,000 extra plaes to Parents and 1,000 to Contributory Parents, but given the Australian Government Actuary's pessimism about the costs of the Parent visa program in general it is a wonder that the Minister increased the quotas at all! All your hard work and lobbying has really paid off for both groups of Parents. I know that you have done everything in your own power to try to get these quotas increased and everybody with an interest in Parent migration owes you are very big thank you for all your solid, hard work on this front. It should bring the processing times for CPVs down to about 12-15 months I reckon, which is brilliant news. It will save people from having to try to tie themselves in knots and trying to wriggle round the legislation in order to get their beloved Parents into Australia. I am SOOOOOOOO pleased!!!
