DIAC - Skilled Visa (175)

Hello,

I need 120 points for this visa so I am formulating how I claim them:

1. 25 points for age because I am 34 (< 35)
   
2. 25 points for English language with proficient IELTS test pass
   
3. 60 points for ASCO code 2231-13 - Systems Designer
   
4. 10 points for specific work experience

Between 1990-2006 I was a software developer.

Since Jan 2006 I've been a system designer.

 

Although I have applied through ACS for the code in point 3 above they will grade me in whatever category they see most appropriate (I believe) - this process is still ongoing and I am waiting for my assessment response.

 

Can anyone advise whether I may have a problem with the 10 points for specific experience if they grade me under another ASCO code.

 

Any help would be appreciated?
