Indianinoz Posted May 28, 2015 Share Posted May 28, 2015 Hello, We have obtained a positive skills assessment for 221111(Accountant). Now we plan to soon lodge our Expression of Interest. How long does it take for the result of EOI to come? There is a rumour that policies may change post 30th June so I want to ensure our process in counting the year 14-15 rather than 15-16. On one place, its written: As there are still high levels of interest from prospective skilled migrants in the following occupations, pro rata arrangements for these occupational groups will continue: Accountants Software and Applications Programmers Whereas on other its written: Below three occupation groups have reached their occupation ceiling for this programme year and no more invitations will be issued in the coming invitation rounds: ICT Business and System Analysts Software and Applications Programmers Accountants. So whats the deal? Anyways I will file EOI asap. Also, I read somewhere that Accountants are not in the flagged list so they have a negligible chance of being removed, is this correct? ktandsm Posted May 31, 2015 Share Posted May 31, 2015 Hi, I think you can submit an expression of interest but my understanding is that no more invitations will be issued for Accountants until 15-16 as the invitation ceiling has been reached.
