dmjg
Is there a lot of work with colour bond what is it? Corrugated iron sheeting. Slam a roofing nail or screw straight through it into the rafter. Roof in a day. The rest of us have clay/terracotta roofing tiles.
srg73
Nice hey!! We are renting a place with colorbond and its like a tin drum...awful. We have bought a house with concrete interlocking which will be much quieter. Regarding flat roofs, remember Australia's biggest enemy is the sun whereas UK is rainwater. Flat roof's would simply melt over here, no critisism of flat roof's, the new single deck or single membranes are great with life expectancies 30+ yrs. Many of Queenslands houses including the multi million properties are glamourised sheds, rough carpentry frames dressed up to impress, no fooling me!
