Vikki81
My friend applied for a regional sponsored visa (i think it was 857) but the application refused. She then went to the review tribunal and they found in her favour. Back then there was no English requirement but the current 187 (Regional Sponsored visa) requires 6.0 For direct entry. My question is this: will she get granted the visa based on when she submitted it ? Does she need to have 6.0 English. ?
MaggieMay24
If she was successful at MRT, her application would be referred back to DIBP to continue processing. So assuming her visa application is now successful, she would be granted an 857 visa under the requirements and conditions that applied to that visa subclass.
