tony74 Posted May 5, 2008 Share Posted May 5, 2008 Hiya, was just reading through recent posts and was getting a bit concerned about jobs for brickies in Oz, if there are any brickies reading this perhaps you could help, have you noticed a rise in the amount of British trowels turning up on sites looking for a start? is there enough building work to cope with the invasion of British brickies going to Oz? have wages decreased due to the amount of brickies looking for work? we are about to go into a recession in the U.K and work is tight enough, im a subbie and my phone hasnt stopped with unemployed brickies looking for work, and then with the amount of East Europeans coming here its begining to dry up.
