If not is advertising on the CSOL or SOL? If not you will not be able to get a skilled visa and it may explain why there is little discussion of it on here. sreeramg Posted February 20, 2015 Author Share Posted February 20, 2015 HI, thank you for your reply . just went through CSOL List, it is listed as 225111 Advertising Specialist 225113 Marketing Specialist would like to inform, that am an advertising professional on the ( OOH - out of home ) platform as a client servicing executive, with 3 years of work ex and about 1 yr of work on BTL before that . but i don't think that i would fit in the ( specialist ) part, as it would require about 8 to 10 years of work ex . any other advice on how to go about it would be helpful. Guest Posted February 20, 2015 Share Posted February 20, 2015 Vetassess do the skills assessments for Advertising Specialiat so that's the best website to look at for skills assessment requirements. You do not actually need a skills assessment for a 457 visa but it will give you an idea of the expected level of a 'specialist' - it won't be 8-10 years - probably a degree plus one year or 5 years without a degree. The problem is with the level of experience you have it is unlikely you would find a sponsor from overseas anyway. Are you under 30? It may be worth getting a working holiday visa (if you come from a country where you can) and use the time to market yourself to possible sponsors.
